Con la mira puesta en las adquisiciones y las carreras a futuro de los cineastas, no podr\u00eda haber m\u00e1s en juego. Sin embargo, bien al estilo del Instituto Sundance, el ambiente de las festividades dista de ser competitivo. Sin lugar a dudas, muchos se van decepcionados, pero entrar en Sundance es un logro en s\u00ed mismo, el cual genera una corriente de profundo y mutuo respeto entre los cineastas. Que una audiencia -o un jurado, para el caso- responda a una pel\u00edcula es completamente subjetivo y est\u00e1 fuera del control del cineasta, as\u00ed que \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no apoyarse mutuamente? El p\u00fablico en Sundance recibe encuestas cuando entran a una sala para clasificar la pel\u00edcula como &#8220;pasable, buena, muy buena o mejor&#8221; al salir. Cualquier otro premio \u201cEspecial del Gran Jurado&#8221; queda a discreci\u00f3n del mismo. Si ven que una pel\u00edcula tiene una calidad digna de premiar, crean un premio para honrar al director responsable.
