Una nueva compa\u00f1\u00eda de lentes llamada Foton, propiedad de la empresa matriz DZO<\/a>,\u00a0con sede en China, est\u00e1 presentando un nuevo zoom esf\u00e9rico 25-300mm T2.8 S35 12x en la NAB. Probamos este lente muy, pero muy grande en el piso de la feria y sacamos algunas conclusiones…

La fabricaci\u00f3n de lentes es complicada y es cierto que este lente a\u00fan no est\u00e1 en producci\u00f3n, pero notamos algunas fallas durante la feria. Por un lado, el lente se mostr\u00f3 en una RED Monstro de formato grande, por lo que el lente S35 recortar\u00eda por encima de los 5K, como se mostraba en el stand. La calidad de construcci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n es un poco sospechosa. Intentamos colocar el lente en T2.8 y el anillo de se detuvo justo antes del punto marcado en T2.8 en el cuerpo del lente.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n tuve problemas para hacer foco en el stand la intentar una prueba r\u00e1pida porque la distancia m\u00ednima de enfoque es de 6,5 pies (o 2 metros)<\/strong> y el stand no era lo suficientemente grande como para enfocar varios objetos diferentes. El lente tambi\u00e9n result\u00f3 un poco suave en mi opini\u00f3n. Si bien el precio es m\u00e1s asequible que otros zooms en este rango, hay algunas cosas que deben solucionarse antes de que este zoom est\u00e9 listo para su estreno, en mi opini\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n resulta un tanto extra\u00f1o que la empresa matriz de Foton, DZO, tenga su sede en China, y sin embargo todo el material de marketing dice que Foton est\u00e1 formado por ingenieros y directores de fotograf\u00eda con sede en California. Obs\u00e9rvese la imagen de abajo:<\/p>\n

Si bien el intento es encomiable, este lente necesita m\u00e1s tiempo de desarrollo antes de que pueda percibirse como un competidor serio para otros fabricantes de alta gama con zooms en este rango.<\/p>\n
