{"id":163290,"date":"2020-11-11T17:36:39","date_gmt":"2020-11-11T16:36:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/canon-eos-r6-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/"},"modified":"2020-11-11T20:17:39","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T19:17:39","slug":"canon-eos-r6-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/es\/canon-eos-r6-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/","title":{"rendered":"Prueba de laboratorio de la Canon EOS R6: Rolling Shutter, Rango Din\u00e1mico y Latitud"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>En cuanto a las especificaciones de la c\u00e1mara  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1547010-REG\/canon_eos_r6_mirrorless_digital.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R6<\/a>, la misma tiene grabaci\u00f3n de video 4:2:2 de 10 bits con un sensor full-frame de 20.1 megap\u00edxeles; Esto quiere decir que son p\u00edxeles grandes y, por lo tanto, muy prometedores en t\u00e9rminos de calidad de imagen y rango din\u00e1mico. \u00bfEst\u00e1 a la altura de las expectativas? \u00a1Contin\u00faa leyendo!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de las limitaciones de sobrecalentamiento que se han mejorado parcialmente con el \u00faltimo firmware, la  Canon EOS R6 ofrece una imagen hermosa, tal como puede verse en esta <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/canon-eos-r6-review-first-look-with-footage-serious-limitation-doubtful-video-tool\/\">rese\u00f1a<\/a> de mi colega Johnnie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a las ofertas de la competencia en el mercado de c\u00e1maras full-frame, la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.canon-europe.com\/cameras\/eos-r6\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canon EOS R6<\/a> se ubica en un rango de precios similar al de la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s1-v-log\/\" target=\"_blank\">Panasonic S1<\/a> (considerando el costo adicional de la actualizaci\u00f3n de VLOG). La <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/sigma-fp-camera-first-impression-sample-footage-and-lab-test-results\/\" target=\"_blank\">SIGMA fp<\/a> es incluso menos costosa y es similar a la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\">Panasonic S5<\/a> que hemos probado recientemente en CineD (haz clic en el enlace de cada c\u00e1mara para ver el art\u00edculo correspondiente).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, vamos a echarle un vistazo a lo que tiene para aportar la  Canon EOS R6 en comparaci\u00f3n con las c\u00e1maras mencionadas anteriormente. La versi\u00f3n de firmware para esta prueba de laboratorio  Canon EOS R6 es 1.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1547010-REG\/canon_eos_r6_mirrorless_digital.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R6<\/a> &#8211; Rolling Shutter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como de costumbre, usamos nuestra luz estrobosc\u00f3pica de 300Hz para registrar los pares de barras blancas y negras que aparecen debido a la naturaleza de lectura de los sensores CMOS. Cuanto mayor es el valor, m\u00e1s pronunciados son los artefactos del rolling shutter. Dado que la  Canon EOS R6 cuenta con IBIS (en la estabilizaci\u00f3n del sensor del cuerpo), en cierto punto es posible mitigar los efectos de un rolling shutter malo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el modo full-frame UHD a 50fps, la c\u00e1mara muestra unos <strong>15,3ms<\/strong>. Al parecer, se est\u00e1 produciendo un submuestreo para hacer posibles los 50 fotogramas por segundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el modo de recorte (1.6x), a 25fps, la  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1547010-REG\/canon_eos_r6_mirrorless_digital.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R6<\/a> exhibe un rolling shutter de <strong>20.3ms,<\/strong> que se ubica en el extremo superior para una muestra Super 35. En el modo de recorte de 50fps, se obtiene un valor similar al resultado en full-frame 50fps: <strong>15,3ms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Canon EOS R6 &#8211; Rango din\u00e1mico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como mencionamos siempre, puedes hacer clic <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/the-cinema5d-camera-lab-is-back-dynamic-range-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\">aqu\u00ed<\/a> para ver c\u00f3mo realizamos las pruebas de rango din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primero, ech\u00e9mosle un vistazo a la forma de onda para la grabaci\u00f3n full-frame, UHD 25fps, C-LOG (Canon Log 1), ISO400, grabaci\u00f3n interna de 10 bits 4:2:2 H265. Aqu\u00ed encontramos alrededor de 11 paradas visibles y un indicio casi invisible de una 12\u00aa parada dentro del piso de ruido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"321\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Waveform-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-640x321.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-162839\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Waveform-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-640x321.jpg 640w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Waveform-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Waveform-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-768x385.jpg 768w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Waveform-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-459x230.jpg 459w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Waveform-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG.jpg 1339w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption>Forma de onda del gr\u00e1fico de paradas para la  Canon EOS R6 en full frame UHD H265 ISO400 CLOG: se observan alrededor de 11 paradas.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo que se puede notar a simple vista es el hecho de que casi no se observa ning\u00fan ruido de fondo, parece que los topes inferiores simplemente est\u00e1n cortados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo tanto, no ser\u00e1 posible profundizar mucho en las sombras sin perder color y crear bandas, lo que confirma nuestra prueba de latitud (subexposici\u00f3n) que encontrar\u00e1n a continuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMATEST calcula 10,5 paradas en SNR = 2, tal como podr\u00e1s ver en el resultado a continuaci\u00f3n. El rango total de parches identificado es de 12,7 paradas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/DR-Result-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-1N3A0064_0005_Step_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-162827\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/DR-Result-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-1N3A0064_0005_Step_2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/DR-Result-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-1N3A0064_0005_Step_2-300x321.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/DR-Result-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-1N3A0064_0005_Step_2-640x686.jpg 640w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/DR-Result-Canon-R6-UHD-ISO400-CLOG-1N3A0064_0005_Step_2-215x230.jpg 215w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption>Resultado IMATEST de la  Canon EOS R6 en UHD H265 ISO400 CLOG: se calculan 10,5 paradas para SNR = 2<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces, obtenemos un resumen muy simple: la  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1547010-REG\/canon_eos_r6_mirrorless_digital.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R6<\/a> muestra el rolling shutter m\u00e1s alto y un rango din\u00e1mico m\u00e1s bajo que cualquier otra c\u00e1mara full-frame que hemos probado hasta ahora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanto la Panasonic S1 como la S5 exhiben un poco m\u00e1s de 12 paradas de rango din\u00e1mico (para una relaci\u00f3n se\u00f1al\/ruido de 2) y ambas tienen un valor de rolling shutter de 22ms y 21ms respectivamente, mientras que la SIGMA fp muestra un valor de 20.8ms y una lectura del rango din\u00e1mico de 11,3 (a SNR = 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Canon EOS R6 &#8211; Prueba de latitud (subexposici\u00f3n) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como de costumbre, para nuestra prueba de subexposici\u00f3n organizamos la escena de tal manera que la cara de Johnnie quede expuesta a un valor de luma m\u00e1ximo del 60% (utilizando un monitor de forma de onda). Esto da una exposici\u00f3n base de F4 con un obturador de 1\/25s en ISO 400 usando C-LOG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego, reducimos sucesivamente el valor del obturador a 1\/50s, 1\/100s, 1\/200s, 1\/400s y 1\/800s hasta alcanzar las 5 paradas de subexposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" valor de luminancia en la cara de Johnnie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora s\u00ed, veamos que ocurre a 3 paradas de subexposici\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img a\u00fan se puede usar, ya que aunque el ruido comienza a aparecer, este puede eliminarse mediante la reducci\u00f3n de ruido (mira la diapositiva a continuaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure efectiva mediante la reducci\u00f3n de ruido (usando DaVinci Resolve 16.2.7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al llegar a las 4 paradas de subexposici\u00f3n regresadas a cero, se alcanza el l\u00edmite (mira la diapositiva a continuaci\u00f3n):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" vuelve excesivo. Sin embargo, est\u00e1 finamente disperso, por lo que la reducci\u00f3n de ruido nuevamente puede ayudar un poco y esta imagen puede salirse con la suya. Por otro lado, los colores comienzan a desvanecerse y las bandas se vuelven visibles (las transiciones de las partes m\u00e1s brillantes de la imagen a las \u00e1reas m\u00e1s oscuras muestran transiciones escalonadas) que est\u00e1n difuminadas por el ruido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teniendo en cuenta el diagrama de forma de onda en la secci\u00f3n de arriba, este era un comportamiento esperable. El valor de luma del 60% representa la parada 3, el \u00e1rea de sombra est\u00e1 5 paradas por debajo de la parada 8. La  Canon EOS R6 tiene el rolling shutter m\u00e1s alto y el rango din\u00e1mico m\u00e1s bajo de todas las c\u00e1maras full-frame que hemos probado hasta el momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la prueba de subexposici\u00f3n, la  Canon EOS R6 se comporta tal como era de esperarse. Es posible una subexposici\u00f3n de 3 paradas y, si se aplica algo de reducci\u00f3n de ruido, 4 paradas. Esto no es tan malo y se puede atribuir a la naturaleza agradable del ruido (un grano muy fino), que ayuda a ocultar las bandas para que la imagen se vea bastante bien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, pero no por ello menos importante, perm\u00edtanme recordarles a todos que el rango din\u00e1mico y el rolling shutter son solo algunas de las piezas del rompecabezas que se deben tener en cuenta al momento de comparar c\u00e1maras. La ciencia del color, la facilidad de uso, el sellado contra las inclemencias clim\u00e1ticas, el sobrecalentamiento y otras caracter\u00edsticas pueden ser m\u00e1s importantes para obtener la toma que necesitas y realizar tu trabajo correctamente. La <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/sigma-fp-camera-first-impression-sample-footage-and-lab-test-results\/\" target=\"_blank\">SIGMA fp<\/a> es incluso menos costosa y es similar a la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\">Panasonic S5<\/a> que hemos probado recientemente en CineD (haz clic en el enlace de cada c\u00e1mara para ver el art\u00edculo correspondiente).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, vamos a echarle un vistazo a lo que tiene para aportar la  Canon EOS R6 en comparaci\u00f3n con las c\u00e1maras mencionadas anteriormente. La versi\u00f3n de firmware para esta prueba de laboratorio  Canon EOS R6 es 1.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1547010-REG\/canon_eos_r6_mirrorless_digital.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R6<\/a> &#8211; Rolling Shutter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como de costumbre, usamos nuestra luz estrobosc\u00f3pica de 300Hz para registrar los pares de barras blancas y negras que aparecen debido a la naturaleza de lectura de los sensores CMOS. Cuanto mayor es el valor, m\u00e1s pronunciados son los artefactos del rolling shutter. Dado que la  Canon EOS R6 cuenta con IBIS (en la estabilizaci\u00f3n del sensor del cuerpo), en cierto punto es posible mitigar los efectos de un rolling shutter malo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el modo full-frame UHD a 50fps, la c\u00e1mara muestra unos <strong>15,3ms<\/strong>. Al parecer, se est\u00e1 produciendo un submuestreo para hacer posibles los 50 fotogramas por segundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el modo de recorte (1.6x), a 25fps, la  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1547010-REG\/canon_eos_r6_mirrorless_digital.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R6<\/a> exhibe un rolling shutter de <strong>20.3ms,<\/strong> que se ubica en el extremo superior para una muestra Super 35. En el modo de recorte de 50fps, se obtiene un valor similar al resultado en full-frame 50fps: <strong>15,3ms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Canon EOS R6 &#8211; Rango din\u00e1mico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como mencionamos siempre, puedes hacer clic <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/the-cinema5d-camera-lab-is-back-dynamic-range-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\">aqu\u00ed<\/a> para ver c\u00f3mo realizamos las pruebas de rango din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primero, ech\u00e9mosle un vistazo a la forma de onda para la grabaci\u00f3n full-frame, UHD 25fps, C-LOG (Canon Log 1), ISO400, grabaci\u00f3n interna de 10 bits 4:2:2 H265. Esto da una exposici\u00f3n base de F4 con un obturador de 1\/25s en ISO 400 usando C-LOG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego, reducimos sucesivamente el valor del obturador a 1\/50s, 1\/100s, 1\/200s, 1\/400s y 1\/800s hasta alcanzar las 5 paradas de subexposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" vuelve excesivo. Sin embargo, est\u00e1 finamente disperso, por lo que la reducci\u00f3n de ruido nuevamente puede ayudar un poco y esta imagen puede salirse con la suya. Por otro lado, los colores comienzan a desvanecerse y las bandas se vuelven visibles (las transiciones de las partes m\u00e1s brillantes de la imagen a las \u00e1reas m\u00e1s oscuras muestran transiciones escalonadas) que est\u00e1n difuminadas por el ruido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teniendo en cuenta el diagrama de forma de onda en la secci\u00f3n de arriba, este era un comportamiento esperable. El valor de luma del 60% representa la parada 3, el \u00e1rea de sombra est\u00e1 5 paradas por debajo de la parada 8. La  Canon EOS R6 tiene el rolling shutter m\u00e1s alto y el rango din\u00e1mico m\u00e1s bajo de todas las c\u00e1maras full-frame que hemos probado hasta el momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la prueba de subexposici\u00f3n, la  Canon EOS R6 se comporta tal como era de esperarse. Es posible una subexposici\u00f3n de 3 paradas y, si se aplica algo de reducci\u00f3n de ruido, 4 paradas. Esto no es tan malo y se puede atribuir a la naturaleza agradable del ruido (un grano muy fino), que ayuda a ocultar las bandas para que la imagen se vea bastante bien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, pero no por ello menos importante, perm\u00edtanme recordarles a todos que el rango din\u00e1mico y el rolling shutter son solo algunas de las piezas del rompecabezas que se deben tener en cuenta al momento de comparar c\u00e1maras. La ciencia del color, la facilidad de uso, el sellado contra las inclemencias clim\u00e1ticas, el sobrecalentamiento y otras caracter\u00edsticas pueden ser m\u00e1s importantes para obtener la toma que necesitas y realizar tu trabajo correctamente.
