Ten\u00eda mucha curiosidad por probarla en nuestra prueba de laboratorio est\u00e1ndar. \u00bfTienes curiosidad por conocer los resultados? Entonces sigue leyendo\u2026<\/strong><\/p><262126-inline-buylinks\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchos de nuestros lectores nos han preguntado si tuvimos la oportunidad de probar la c\u00e1mara RED V-RAPTOR 8K en nuestro laboratorio, especialmente despu\u00e9s de probar la nueva ARRI ALEXA 35 ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/arri-alexa-35-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude-plus-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prueba de laboratorio aqu\u00ed<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las especificaciones de la RED V-RAPTOR son asombrosas, con un sensor CMOS full-frame de 35.4MP (40.96 x 21.60mm), 8K a 120 cuadros por segundo y m\u00e1s de 17 paradas de rango din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto suena bastante sorprendente, pero como todos sabemos, no existe un est\u00e1ndar establecido para probar el rango din\u00e1mico de las im\u00e1genes en movimiento (puedes leer nuestro art\u00edculo y ver c\u00f3mo hacemos nuestra prueba <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/the-cinema5d-camera-lab-is-back-dynamic-range-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>), y es por eso que hemos establecido nuestra prueba de laboratorio CineD est\u00e1ndar para arrojar algo de luz sobre las afirmaciones del fabricante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces, vamos a echarle un vistazo: tiene mucho sentido leer el art\u00edculo primero y luego ver el video, pero eso depende de ti ;-).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de comenzar, dejamos que la c\u00e1mara se calentara durante 20 minutos y luego hicimos un sombreado negro (calibraci\u00f3n) del sensor con la tapa del lente puesta (el firmware actual de la c\u00e1mara era 1.2.7). Esto era de esperar, de lo contrario no ser\u00eda posible alcanzar los 120fps a 8K. Son valores de primer nivel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rango din\u00e1mico de la RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como siempre, usamos nuestro diagrama de paradas DSC Labs Xyla 21 para probar el rango din\u00e1mico. Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Ahora bien, te preguntar\u00e1s \u00bfqu\u00e9 est\u00e1 pasando aqu\u00ed? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no comenc\u00e9 a contar las paradas como de costumbre, dejando fuera la segunda parada de la izquierda? Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Solo la tercera parada desde la izquierda tiene los 3 canales RGB, sin embargo, el canal rojo ya est\u00e1 en la c\u00faspide del recorte. Por lo tanto, comenzamos a contar paradas de rango din\u00e1mico desde el tercer parche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siguiendo nuestro procedimiento est\u00e1ndar (como hacemos con todas las c\u00e1maras) llegamos a unas 13 paradas por encima del nivel de ruido. Es un resultado muy bueno: en comparaci\u00f3n, la ARRI ALEXA  Mini LF (prueba de laboratorio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/arri-alexa-classic-mini-lf-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>) muestra solo una parada m\u00e1s (la ALEXA 35 tiene 3 paradas m\u00e1s). Las mejores c\u00e1maras full-frame de consumidor suelen tener alrededor de 12 paradas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, podr\u00edas preguntarte por qu\u00e9 no estoy contando esta parada &#8220;reconstruida&#8221;, y la respuesta es que carece de toda la informaci\u00f3n de color. Si te desplazas hacia abajo hasta los resultados de latitud, entender\u00e1s mejor qu\u00e9 ocurre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mirando el c\u00e1lculo de IMATEST, esta recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado predeterminada distorsiona el resultado ya que IMATEST tambi\u00e9n cuenta la parada no recortada, pero reconstruida. Curiosamente, los resultados de IMATEST en ISO800 son muy similares, 13.4 paradas en SNR = 2 y 14.7 paradas en SNR = 1. Mi expectativa era que la reducci\u00f3n de escala en la c\u00e1mara mejorar\u00eda los resultados del rango din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para verificar, tambi\u00e9n reduje la imagen 8K R3D a 4K en DaVinci Resolve 18, y aqu\u00ed obtuve valores ligeramente mejores de 13.7 paradas en SNR = 2 y 15.1 paradas en SNR = 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestro punto de referencia actual full-frame para el rango din\u00e1mico es la ARRI ALEXA  Mini LF con 13.5 paradas en SNR = 2 y 14.7 paradas para SNR = 1, sin recuperaci\u00f3n de reflejos. La ARRI ALEXA 35 (sensor Super 35) exhibe 15.1 y 16.3 paradas en SNR = 2 y 1 respectivamente (tambi\u00e9n sin recuperaci\u00f3n de reflejos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A juzgar por la forma de onda y los resultados de IMATEST, dir\u00eda que la RED V-RAPTOR tiene aproximadamente 1 parada m\u00e1s de rango din\u00e1mico que las mejores c\u00e1maras full frame de consumidor. Mientras que la ALEXA  Mini LF tiene aproximadamente 1 parada m\u00e1s y la ALEXA 35 tres paradas m\u00e1s de rango din\u00e1mico que la RED V-RAPTOR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Nota al margen<\/em><\/strong>: con las c\u00e1maras Blackmagic, al usar BRAW puedes seleccionar la opci\u00f3n &#8220;recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado&#8221; en la postproducci\u00f3n (en DaVinci Resolve). Hice una prueba reciente con mi BMPCC 6K y aqu\u00ed la opci\u00f3n &#8220;recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado&#8221; conduce a resultados IMATEST aproximadamente 1 parada m\u00e1s altos en SNR = 2 y SNR = 1 en comparaci\u00f3n a lo obtenido sin HLR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Latitud de la RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuevamente, todo se film\u00f3 en REDCODE RAW HQ con la configuraci\u00f3n de DaVinci Resolve que se muestra arriba (Full Res Premium) en ISO800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La latitud es la capacidad de una c\u00e1mara para retener detalles y colores cuando est\u00e1 sobreexpuesta o subexpuesta y retrocede a la exposici\u00f3n base. Hace alg\u00fan tiempo atr\u00e1s, elegimos un valor arbitrario del 60% del valor de luminancia (en la forma de onda) para las caras de los sujetos (en realidad, la frente) en nuestra escena de estudio est\u00e1ndar. Esta exposici\u00f3n base de CineD deber\u00eda ayudar a nuestros lectores a obtener un punto de referencia para todas las c\u00e1maras probadas, independientemente de c\u00f3mo distribuyan los valores de c\u00f3digo y qu\u00e9 modo LOG se utilice. Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Podr\u00e1s ver en la imagen de arriba que toda la informaci\u00f3n de color se pierde en la frente (y la cara) de Nino, pero todav\u00eda hay algunos detalles visibles; esto es exactamente lo que est\u00e1 haciendo la recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es muy agradable contar con esta opci\u00f3n, ya que puede guardar detalles en una toma sobreexpuesta hasta cierto punto y puedes identificarlo f\u00e1cilmente usando las herramientas de exposici\u00f3n de RED, ya que muestran los valores de sensor RAW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el ejemplo anterior, si la exposici\u00f3n aumenta m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las 2 paradas de la imagen sobreexpuesta, las luces de freno de RED muestran que el canal rojo comienza a recortarse (como lo hace la forma de onda RGB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, ech\u00e9mosle un vistazo a la subexposici\u00f3n. Bueno, incluso la  Sony VENICE 2 ya estaba llegando a sus l\u00edmites en esa latitud en resoluci\u00f3n nativa de 8.6K (usando el c\u00f3dec X-OCN XT). Entonces sigue leyendo\u2026<\/strong><\/p><262126-inline-buylinks\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchos de nuestros lectores nos han preguntado si tuvimos la oportunidad de probar la c\u00e1mara RED V-RAPTOR 8K en nuestro laboratorio, especialmente despu\u00e9s de probar la nueva ARRI ALEXA 35 ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/arri-alexa-35-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude-plus-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prueba de laboratorio aqu\u00ed<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las especificaciones de la RED V-RAPTOR son asombrosas, con un sensor CMOS full-frame de 35.4MP (40.96 x 21.60mm), 8K a 120 cuadros por segundo y m\u00e1s de 17 paradas de rango din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto suena bastante sorprendente, pero como todos sabemos, no existe un est\u00e1ndar establecido para probar el rango din\u00e1mico de las im\u00e1genes en movimiento (puedes leer nuestro art\u00edculo y ver c\u00f3mo hacemos nuestra prueba <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/the-cinema5d-camera-lab-is-back-dynamic-range-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>), y es por eso que hemos establecido nuestra prueba de laboratorio CineD est\u00e1ndar para arrojar algo de luz sobre las afirmaciones del fabricante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces, vamos a echarle un vistazo: tiene mucho sentido leer el art\u00edculo primero y luego ver el video, pero eso depende de ti ;-).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de comenzar, dejamos que la c\u00e1mara se calentara durante 20 minutos y luego hicimos un sombreado negro (calibraci\u00f3n) del sensor con la tapa del lente puesta (el firmware actual de la c\u00e1mara era 1.2.7). Esto era de esperar, de lo contrario no ser\u00eda posible alcanzar los 120fps a 8K. Son valores de primer nivel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rango din\u00e1mico de la RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como siempre, usamos nuestro diagrama de paradas DSC Labs Xyla 21 para probar el rango din\u00e1mico. Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Ahora bien, te preguntar\u00e1s \u00bfqu\u00e9 est\u00e1 pasando aqu\u00ed? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no comenc\u00e9 a contar las paradas como de costumbre, dejando fuera la segunda parada de la izquierda? Por lo tanto, comenzamos a contar paradas de rango din\u00e1mico desde el tercer parche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siguiendo nuestro procedimiento est\u00e1ndar (como hacemos con todas las c\u00e1maras) llegamos a unas 13 paradas por encima del nivel de ruido. Es un resultado muy bueno: en comparaci\u00f3n, la ARRI ALEXA  Mini LF (prueba de laboratorio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/arri-alexa-classic-mini-lf-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>) muestra solo una parada m\u00e1s (la ALEXA 35 tiene 3 paradas m\u00e1s). Las mejores c\u00e1maras full-frame de consumidor suelen tener alrededor de 12 paradas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, podr\u00edas preguntarte por qu\u00e9 no estoy contando esta parada &#8220;reconstruida&#8221;, y la respuesta es que carece de toda la informaci\u00f3n de color. Si te desplazas hacia abajo hasta los resultados de latitud, entender\u00e1s mejor qu\u00e9 ocurre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mirando el c\u00e1lculo de IMATEST, esta recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado predeterminada distorsiona el resultado ya que IMATEST tambi\u00e9n cuenta la parada no recortada, pero reconstruida. Curiosamente, los resultados de IMATEST en ISO800 son muy similares, 13.4 paradas en SNR = 2 y 14.7 paradas en SNR = 1. Mi expectativa era que la reducci\u00f3n de escala en la c\u00e1mara mejorar\u00eda los resultados del rango din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para verificar, tambi\u00e9n reduje la imagen 8K R3D a 4K en DaVinci Resolve 18, y aqu\u00ed obtuve valores ligeramente mejores de 13.7 paradas en SNR = 2 y 15.1 paradas en SNR = 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestro punto de referencia actual full-frame para el rango din\u00e1mico es la ARRI ALEXA  Mini LF con 13.5 paradas en SNR = 2 y 14.7 paradas para SNR = 1, sin recuperaci\u00f3n de reflejos. La ARRI ALEXA 35 (sensor Super 35) exhibe 15.1 y 16.3 paradas en SNR = 2 y 1 respectivamente (tambi\u00e9n sin recuperaci\u00f3n de reflejos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A juzgar por la forma de onda y los resultados de IMATEST, dir\u00eda que la RED V-RAPTOR tiene aproximadamente 1 parada m\u00e1s de rango din\u00e1mico que las mejores c\u00e1maras full frame de consumidor. Mientras que la ALEXA  Mini LF tiene aproximadamente 1 parada m\u00e1s y la ALEXA 35 tres paradas m\u00e1s de rango din\u00e1mico que la RED V-RAPTOR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Nota al margen<\/em><\/strong>: con las c\u00e1maras Blackmagic, al usar BRAW puedes seleccionar la opci\u00f3n &#8220;recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado&#8221; en la postproducci\u00f3n (en DaVinci Resolve). Hice una prueba reciente con mi BMPCC 6K y aqu\u00ed la opci\u00f3n &#8220;recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado&#8221; conduce a resultados IMATEST aproximadamente 1 parada m\u00e1s altos en SNR = 2 y SNR = 1 en comparaci\u00f3n a lo obtenido sin HLR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Latitud de la RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuevamente, todo se film\u00f3 en REDCODE RAW HQ con la configuraci\u00f3n de DaVinci Resolve que se muestra arriba (Full Res Premium) en ISO800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La latitud es la capacidad de una c\u00e1mara para retener detalles y colores cuando est\u00e1 sobreexpuesta o subexpuesta y retrocede a la exposici\u00f3n base. Hace alg\u00fan tiempo atr\u00e1s, elegimos un valor arbitrario del 60% del valor de luminancia (en la forma de onda) para las caras de los sujetos (en realidad, la frente) en nuestra escena de estudio est\u00e1ndar. Esta exposici\u00f3n base de CineD deber\u00eda ayudar a nuestros lectores a obtener un punto de referencia para todas las c\u00e1maras probadas, independientemente de c\u00f3mo distribuyan los valores de c\u00f3digo y qu\u00e9 modo LOG se utilice. Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Podr\u00e1s ver en la imagen de arriba que toda la informaci\u00f3n de color se pierde en la frente (y la cara) de Nino, pero todav\u00eda hay algunos detalles visibles; esto es exactamente lo que est\u00e1 haciendo la recuperaci\u00f3n de resaltado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es muy agradable contar con esta opci\u00f3n, ya que puede guardar detalles en una toma sobreexpuesta hasta cierto punto y puedes identificarlo f\u00e1cilmente usando las herramientas de exposici\u00f3n de RED, ya que muestran los valores de sensor RAW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el ejemplo anterior, si la exposici\u00f3n aumenta m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las 2 paradas de la imagen sobreexpuesta, las luces de freno de RED muestran que el canal rojo comienza a recortarse (como lo hace la forma de onda RGB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, ech\u00e9mosle un vistazo a la subexposici\u00f3n. Bueno, incluso la  Sony VENICE 2 ya estaba llegando a sus l\u00edmites en esa latitud en resoluci\u00f3n nativa de 8.6K (usando el c\u00f3dec X-OCN XT).
