Inicialmente, no esperaba encontrar muchas diferencias en los resultados de laboratorio en comparaci\u00f3n con la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S5<\/a>, aunque Panasonic afirma haber agregado un &#8220;nuevo sensor y un nuevo procesador&#8221; para la S5 II. Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panasonic LUMIX S5 II \u2013 Rolling Shutter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como de costumbre, usamos nuestra luz estrobosc\u00f3pica para generar pares de barras blancas y negras (aparecen debido a la naturaleza de la lectura del sensor CMOS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para el modo full-frame, nuestros resultados son bastante similares a los que obtuvimos durante la prueba de laboratorio de la predecesora <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LUMIX S5<\/a>. La l\u00edder en este rango de precios (para el consumidor) es la Sony a7S III con 8.7ms. Cr\u00e9dito de imagen: CineD<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 es una sorpresa? Bueno, inicialmente obtuvimos 10.5ms para la predecesora S5 en 25p y 50p. Obviamente, en alg\u00fan momento con las actualizaciones de firmware tambi\u00e9n cambi\u00f3 el modo de lectura, ya que acabamos de volver a probar el rolling shutter (para asegurarnos de que no hab\u00eda errores de nuestra parte) de la S5 y obtuvimos 12.5ms para 24p (y 10.8ms para 50p \u2013 interesante, \u00bfno?).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En resumen, el resultado de la S5 II es 1.8ms peor. Por cierto, este resultado de 14.3ms para la S5 II sigue siendo el mismo para UHD 60p en modo APS-C, por lo que no hay cambios en el modo de lectura de 24p a 60p. Por lo tanto, definitivamente algo ha cambiado en el flujo de imagen (sensor \u2013 procesador de imagen) desde el modelo anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panasonic LUMIX S5 II \u2013 Rango Din\u00e1mico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si no sabes c\u00f3mo probamos el rango din\u00e1mico, puedes leer la explicaci\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/the-cinema5d-camera-lab-is-back-dynamic-range-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La LUMIX S5 II vuelve a utilizar un sensor ISO nativo dual, con ISO base de 640 y 4000 para V-Log. Comparado con la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S5<\/a> original, es ligeramente mejor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En ISO4000, obtuvimos 11.9 paradas en SNR = 2 y 13.3 paradas en SNR = 1. De esta manera, es un poco m\u00e1s ruidoso pero muy similar: esa es la belleza de los sensores ISO nativos duales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Utilizando UHD en modo full-frame en ISO640, <\/strong>IMATEST calcul\u00f3 12.4 paradas en SNR = 2 y 13.5 paradas en SNR = 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ahora, cambiando al modo APS-C <\/strong>(ISO640) y utilizando UHD 24fps se alcanz\u00f3 el siguiente resultado en IMATEST:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"560\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/S5II-4K-APS-C-V-LOG-ISO640_1.7.1_Step_2.jpg\" alt=\"IMATEST results for the LUMIX S5 II in APS-C mode\" class=\"wp-image-274526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/S5II-4K-APS-C-V-LOG-ISO640_1.7.1_Step_2.jpg 560w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/S5II-4K-APS-C-V-LOG-ISO640_1.7.1_Step_2-300x321.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.cined.dev\/content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/S5II-4K-APS-C-V-LOG-ISO640_1.7.1_Step_2-215x230.jpg 215w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Resultados IMATEST para la LUMIX S5 II en modo APS-C. El mismo resultado se obtuvo en UHD a 60 cuadros por segundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En resumen, es un resultado realmente s\u00f3lido, m\u00e1s o menos a la par con las mejores c\u00e1maras full-frame de consumidor en este rango de precios y muy similar a sus hermanas, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panasonic.com\/uk\/consumer\/cameras-camcorders\/lumix-mirrorless-cameras\/lumix-s-full-frame-cameras\/dc-s1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LUMIX S1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-s1h-lab-test-dynamic-range-and-rolling-shutter-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S1H<\/a>, y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S5<\/a>. La l\u00edder dentro de los sensores full-frame es la ARRI ALEXA  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1470346-REG\/arri_k1_0024074_alexa_mini_lf_camera.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Mini LF<\/a> con 13.5 paradas en SNR = 2 y 14.7 paradas en SNR = 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panasonic LUMIX S5 II \u2013 Resultado de Latitud<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como hemos explicado anteriormente, la latitud es la capacidad de una c\u00e1mara para retener detalles y colores cuando se sobreexpone o subexpone y se retrocede a una exposici\u00f3n base. Sin embargo, en comparaci\u00f3n con la LUMIX S5 original, el ruido es m\u00e1s irregular y no est\u00e1 tan finamente disperso. Ahora estamos en 8 paradas de latitud de exposici\u00f3n, que es lo \u00faltimo en c\u00e1maras full-frame de consumidor. Dejando la banda de lado, la imagen se ve bastante bien, incluso sin aplicar la reducci\u00f3n de ruido. La imagen se vuelve verdosa y la reducci\u00f3n de ruido ya no puede salvarla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solo para tener una referencia, lo \u00faltimo en t\u00e9rminos de latitud es la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/arri-alexa-35-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude-plus-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ALEXA 35<\/a> con 12 paradas de latitud de exposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso me lleva a la conclusi\u00f3n de que la nueva LUMIX S5 II es capaz de alcanzar las 7 paradas de latitud de exposici\u00f3n, ya que las bandas se vuelven demasiado pronunciadas en 8 paradas. Obviamente, en alg\u00fan momento con las actualizaciones de firmware tambi\u00e9n cambi\u00f3 el modo de lectura, ya que acabamos de volver a probar el rolling shutter (para asegurarnos de que no hab\u00eda errores de nuestra parte) de la S5 y obtuvimos 12.5ms para 24p (y 10.8ms para 50p \u2013 interesante, \u00bfno?).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En resumen, el resultado de la S5 II es 1.8ms peor. Por cierto, este resultado de 14.3ms para la S5 II sigue siendo el mismo para UHD 60p en modo APS-C, por lo que no hay cambios en el modo de lectura de 24p a 60p. Por lo tanto, definitivamente algo ha cambiado en el flujo de imagen (sensor \u2013 procesador de imagen) desde el modelo anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panasonic LUMIX S5 II \u2013 Rango Din\u00e1mico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si no sabes c\u00f3mo probamos el rango din\u00e1mico, puedes leer la explicaci\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/the-cinema5d-camera-lab-is-back-dynamic-range-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La LUMIX S5 II vuelve a utilizar un sensor ISO nativo dual, con ISO base de 640 y 4000 para V-Log. Comparado con la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S5<\/a> original, es ligeramente mejor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En ISO4000, obtuvimos 11.9 paradas en SNR = 2 y 13.3 paradas en SNR = 1. El mismo resultado se obtuvo en UHD a 60 cuadros por segundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En resumen, es un resultado realmente s\u00f3lido, m\u00e1s o menos a la par con las mejores c\u00e1maras full-frame de consumidor en este rango de precios y muy similar a sus hermanas, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panasonic.com\/uk\/consumer\/cameras-camcorders\/lumix-mirrorless-cameras\/lumix-s-full-frame-cameras\/dc-s1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LUMIX S1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-s1h-lab-test-dynamic-range-and-rolling-shutter-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S1H<\/a>, y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/panasonic-lumix-s5-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S5<\/a>. La l\u00edder dentro de los sensores full-frame es la ARRI ALEXA  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1470346-REG\/arri_k1_0024074_alexa_mini_lf_camera.html\/BI\/7953\/KBID\/8488\/SID\/gunther\/\" class=\"content-keyword-linked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Mini LF<\/a> con 13.5 paradas en SNR = 2 y 14.7 paradas en SNR = 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panasonic LUMIX S5 II \u2013 Resultado de Latitud<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como hemos explicado anteriormente, la latitud es la capacidad de una c\u00e1mara para retener detalles y colores cuando se sobreexpone o subexpone y se retrocede a una exposici\u00f3n base. Ahora estamos en 8 paradas de latitud de exposici\u00f3n, que es lo \u00faltimo en c\u00e1maras full-frame de consumidor. Dejando la banda de lado, la imagen se ve bastante bien, incluso sin aplicar la reducci\u00f3n de ruido. La imagen se vuelve verdosa y la reducci\u00f3n de ruido ya no puede salvarla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solo para tener una referencia, lo \u00faltimo en t\u00e9rminos de latitud es la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/es\/arri-alexa-35-lab-test-rolling-shutter-dynamic-range-and-latitude-plus-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ALEXA 35<\/a> con 12 paradas de latitud de exposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso me lleva a la conclusi\u00f3n de que la nueva LUMIX S5 II es capaz de alcanzar las 7 paradas de latitud de exposici\u00f3n, ya que las bandas se vuelven demasiado pronunciadas en 8 paradas.
