Hablaremos de ello en este art\u00edculo de opini\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de nosotros no lo vimos venir:  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cined.com\/nikon-to-acquire-us-cinema-camera-manufacturer-red-digital-cinema\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nikon adquiri\u00f3 RED<\/a>. A partir de hoy, el fabricante estadounidense de c\u00e1maras de cine RED se convertir\u00e1 en una filial de propiedad absoluta de Nikon. La compa\u00f1\u00eda lanz\u00f3 su primera c\u00e1mara, la RED One, en 2007. El resto es historia, con una galaxia de c\u00e1maras de cine presentadas a lo largo de los a\u00f1os. Lo que distingue a RED de sus competidores es que las c\u00e1maras de cine finalmente se volvieron \u201casequibles\u201d \u2013o al menos te\u00f3ricamente posibles de comprar o alquilar sin tener que vender un ri\u00f1\u00f3n\u2013 para cineastas independientes y peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas de producci\u00f3n. Enumerar todos los modelos de c\u00e1maras que RED lanz\u00f3 a lo largo de los a\u00f1os ser\u00eda demasiado largo, pero podemos nombrar algunos de los modelos legendarios que cambiaron nuestra industria, entre ellos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DSMC1: RED Scarlet-X con su sensor de imagen Mysterium X, seguida por la RED Epic. Cr\u00e9dito de la imagen: RED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2007, la RED One fue una verdadera innovaci\u00f3n y revoluci\u00f3n para la industria cinematogr\u00e1fica. De hecho, es la primera c\u00e1mara que present\u00f3 el c\u00f3dec REDCODE RAW al mundo. RECODE RAW es un c\u00f3dec de grabaci\u00f3n de v\u00eddeo RAW comprimido y no destructivo y muchos lo consideran uno de los formatos m\u00e1s eficientes y flexibles para trabajar. Land tiene m\u00e1s de 100 patentes adjuntas a su nombre. Sin embargo, en 2012, RED present\u00f3 la controvertida <a href=\"https:\/\/patents.google.com\/patent\/US8872933B2\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">patente US8872933B2<\/a> para la grabaci\u00f3n de v\u00eddeo RAW &#8220;sin desbayer&#8221;. La Nikon Z 9 pudo conservar sus capacidades de grabaci\u00f3n interna RAW, y creemos que Nikon tuvo que pagarle una tarifa\/licencia a RED para conservarla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, tengo dudas de que Nikon se una al mercado de las c\u00e1maras de cine. Si bien ambas marcas existir\u00e1n de forma independiente, no me sorprender\u00eda que m\u00e1s c\u00e1maras Nikon, ahora o en el futuro, obtengan acceso a capacidades de grabaci\u00f3n interna RAW gracias a la adquisici\u00f3n de la patente REDCODE RAW. Nikon menciona que esta adquisici\u00f3n es \u201cpara satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes y ofrecer experiencias de usuario excepcionales que superen las expectativas, fusionando las fortalezas de ambas empresas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchos creadores de contenido anticipan un probable cambio en las monturas de lentes de las c\u00e1maras RED. De hecho, por el momento, las l\u00edneas Komodo 6K y DSMC3 cuentan con una montura de lente Canon RF incorporada. RED paga la licencia de Canon para usar su montura de lente RF. Lo descubriremos con el tiempo. Lo mismo ocurre con los sensores de imagen: \u00bfAmbas empresas unir\u00e1n fuerzas y compartir\u00e1n o desarrollar\u00e1n conjuntamente algunos sensores\/procesadores de imagen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, podemos mencionar que Nikon tiene una gran red de revendedores\/distribuidores en todo el mundo, al igual que RED, y mayores presupuestos de marketing.
