We keep talking about drones as a tool for filmmakers, but the reality is, that drones can serve news-shooters extremely well when used cautiously and according to the local operating flying rules.
For that matter, I chose the DJI Mavic Mini 2. There is a great chance that you will be allowed to fly that 249 grams drone and get that powerful extra angle or shot of the item you are covering. (Please note that according to the latest EU rules, a drone below 250 grams needs to be registered if it has a camera).
And again, I can not stress enough the legal aspect of flying drones especially in populated zones, so please act respectfully, legally, and accordingly.

I'm not sure about you, but the dream of being a pilot will probably escort me to the very last day...Anyway, the closer I can do in order to fulfill this dream is filing a drone and the DJI Mavic Mini 2 (And Mavic Mini before), is a great place to start with!
I have been traveling the world with this drone and never encounter an issue. It didn't attract the attention of custom (Even in "difficult countries") nor raised any issues while operating it. When shooting news for your local broadcaster, most chances are that it will be in "High Definition", or even "Standard Definition", as those resolutions are the current de facto broadcast standards, so the "race for more pixels" is a bit irrelevant here.
The "Fly More Combo" Package will set you up quickly so the only thing that you will have to purchase separately is a Micro SD card (And lens filters if you want to be extra creative)... One thing to remember: The drone has ZERO "obstacle avoidance" of any kind, simply NONE! So please take it into consideration and master the art of flying this fun drone before taking off.

This card has also been designed with the V60 Video Speed Class rating, which guarantees minimum write speeds of at least 60 MB/s, allowing the card to be optimized for 4K, UHD, Full HD, and 3D video captures, as well as raw photos and rapid-fire bursts.

PGYTECH. Portable and easy to fold, this double-sided pad protects your drone's gimbal and camera during takeoff and landing. The landing pad comes with three pegs for securing it to the ground so it doesn't get blown away by the wind while you're up in the sky
