We have teamed up with Panasonic to produce two educational videos. The first one, which we are presenting today, is dealing with the “Supportive Video Functions”: Zebra, Waveform, Dual Native ISO, Luminance Spot Meter, Luminance, Anamorphic filming, and shutter angle, are all mentioned in this “easy to watch” video. Hope you guys will find it useful and entertaining!
With the video above, our aim is to enhance knowledge, yet keep a strong element of fun! Indeed, we have been publishing content that can be regarded as educational for years now, but of course, we are pleased to collaborate with a leading manufacturer and bring a fresh educational perspective whenever possible.
For full transparency, the above video has been produced with the support of Panasonic. The brief was to create a video explaining the supportive video functions of Panasonic cameras, but the content creation was fully in the hands of CineD.
At times, it feels like there aren’t any beginners in our industry anymore… A quick search through social media channels and YouTube reveals a situation, where everyone (and their mum) already is a “director of photography”, knowing everything. This is of course a great thing, but in order not to leave anyone behind, we decided to produce a video that explains the very basics of the technology in an appealing way. This time, the extensive supportive video functions that Panasonic put into their LUMIX series of cameras.
For this short film we chose to work with the following equipment (partial list):
We would like to thank our dear friends and colleagues from DIE BOUTIQUE film production company. Tamás Kiss (film director) and his business partner Sasa Tomic (production), allocated all their resources to help us with perfecting the concept and realize this project. The behind the scenes shows more about the process behind the shoot.
Full disclosure: This educational content has been financially supported and promoted by Panasonic. CineD however retained full editorial and production control on content.Â
We would love to hear your feedback. This will encourage us to team up with leading companies from our industry and produce additional educational content.
