This is the last of my videos for NAB 2014. It is a tribute to the people who attended NAB and all who followed our coverage. Thanks for your continued support and friendship.
The equipment used for this video was:
The camera of choice each year at NAB is the good old Canon 5D mark III. Ideal and compact for nice 720p video and shallow depth of field.I used the Technicolor Cinestyle picture profile.
The lens used was the great Zeiss CP.2 35mm T/1.5 Super Speed that brought a very lovely and cinematic bokeh to the shots since I couldn’t control any lighting.
This was sitting on a very small rig only equipped with an F&V top-handle so it could be attached to an Easyrig Mini that was sitting on my shoulders and is great for handheld on long shooting days.I look ridiculous with this thing, but hey, the result is more important and I can only recommend the easyrig, especially for gymbal usage.
On the camera’s hotshoe I had this affordable Azden microphone that went directly into the camera. Unfortunately it was not ideal with all the background noise, but it was a workable solution none the less.
Graded with Filmconvert.
