If you ever wanted a wireless microphone system, B&H has the KKX VK2, a compact wireless microphone system, on sale! With two Lavalier microphones, two transmitters, and one receiver, it can capture sound on a two-person video for social media or for live-streaming and vlogging. The set is on sale for $49 instead of $149 and according to B&H, there is only a limited supply at this price!
We have seen a lot of budget wireless microphone systems over the last few months, for example, the Hollyland Lark M1 or the SWIT WAVE500 dual channel system, or the single channel RØDE Wireless ME microphone system. But now the KKX VK2 system is on sale!
The KKX VK2 is a compact wireless microphone system with two microphones and one receiver. It offers a complete and simple-to-use solution for recording sound to a mirrorless/DSLR camera, an iOS/Android smartphone or tablet with a headphone jack, or a Mac/Windows computer.
The VK2 consists of two small clip-on transmitters, each with its own built-in microphone. It can also be used with two included lavalier mics if you prefer a more discreet microphone setup with your subject. The system also includes a small, dual-channel, clip-on receiver that mounts on your camera or mobile device and plugs into its 3.5mm input jack. Both a 3,5mm TRS cable for camera and computer use and a 3,5mm TRRS cable for smartphone use are already included.
The two-channel receiver allows you to use a single receiver to simultaneously receive signals from the two transmitters with microphones. The receiver features a belt clip to attach it to your phone, and the clip also doubles as a shoe mount adapter for your camera.
Each of the transmitters is equipped with both a built-in microphone and a 3,5mm input for the included lavalier microphones. The transmitter can be clipped to your collar, tie, or pocket without having to wire yourself or your subject talent.
Just press the pairing buttons and the system components pair automatically. A gain button on the receiver allows you to set the level of each microphone independently. The receiver and the transmitters have an LED that indicates power, battery life, and pairing status. To avoid interference from TV and radio waves, the KKX VK2 digital system operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. The system automatically changes transmission frequency to reduce noise.
The system is supposed to deliver a transmission at a line-of-sight distance up to 50 meters / 164 feet and 30 meters / 98 feet with limited obstacles. The receiver features a 3,5mm headphone jack, enabling you to monitor your audio in real-time, which is always very convenient, and the built-in rechargeable batteries provide an operation time of up to 6 hours, and recharge in 2 hours via USB Type-C ports. Two furry windshields are included to protect against wind noise when shooting outdoors. A storage bag is included to keep your system secure and tidy.
The KKX VK2 Compact 2-Person digital wireless microphone system for cameras and smartphones set is on sale at B&H for only $49 instead of $149, this is a savings of $100!
