Jason Ano sent me this link to an audio interview he did with film director Quentin Dupieux. According to Mr. Oizo, he used the inexpensive Canon lenses to shoot his film “Rubber”.He seems to think it is more about the camera and less about the lenses. The film looks pretty good. Here is a rip from Jason’s site.

“Mr. Oizo (Quentin Dupieux) is a music producer and film director. He’s known for his eclectic production style. We caught up with Quentin at a Girls & Boys event (Webster Hall NYC) and picked his brain about his use of the Cannon 5D Mark II, and the hurdles he overcame shooting a Feature length film with it. You can download the complete audio interview below.”
