Accsoon and Switcher Studio have joined forces and announced that the SeeMo HDMI adapter for iPhone is now integrated into Switcher Studio. It means you can now use any HDMI device, including a DSLR/mirrorless/cinema camera, as a source inside Switcher Studio and switch between nine different sources inside the App. So let’s take a closer at this production/live-streaming studio option.
The Accsoon SeeMo was released back in October 2022. In a nutshell, the SeeMo is an HDMI converter that allows you to use your iPhone as an on-camera monitor. If you missed it, you can watch our original review here.
Over time, Accsoon updated the SeeMo App to include more features, such as audio monitoring tools, live streaming capabilities, reduced latency, etc.
Switcher Studio is an iOS App that creates and edits live video broadcasts using multiple iOS devices, graphics, and pre-recorded video clips.
Accsoon joined forces with Switcher Studio to integrate its SeeMo HDMI adapter into the App. So what does it mean, and why is it cool?
First, it lets you input any HDMI camera into Switcher Studio instead of using just iPhones. As a reminder, you can connect and edit up to nine iOS/SeeMo devices simultaneously in Switcher Studio, as well as Live Stream or record your video output.
What’s more, if you don’t have multiple cameras, you can, for example, use your iPhone’s camera for a wide-angle shot and your DSLR/mirrorless/cinema camera to create a tighter or close-up shot.
This Accsoon SeeMo integration into Switcher Studio makes it one of the most capable lightweight Production/Live Streaming devices on the market.
The latest Switcher update (version 9.0) is available now and is a free update for existing customers. Switcher Studio is a subscription-based iOS App that costs $49 per month. The Accsoon SeeMo retails for $179.
For more information, please visit Switcher Studio’s website here.
What do you think about the first SeeMo integration? Did you already use Switcher Studio for iOS live-streaming applications? What SeeMo integration would you like to see next? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments down below!
