Atomos has just announced that their new Ninja V+ monitor/recorder will be on sale until the end of this year, for $999/€970. So if you were waiting to get your hands on one of the best 5″ monitor/recorders on the market, it might be the right time for you!
The Atomos Ninja V+ was launched back in April this year to succeed the very popular original Ninja V that the company released in 2018.
The Ninja V+ is a 5″ monitor/recorder with incredible specs for such a compact and lightweight device. Indeed, it can record footage over HDMI up to 8K30p for Canon EOS R5 users, and 4K120p if you use a Z CAM E2 cinema camera.
Atomos has just announced a surprising Ninja V+ sale that will last until the end of this year. If you purchase a unit during that time, you’ll get an instant $500/€500 discount. In short, the Atomos Ninja V+ will now cost slightly less than the $1000 psychological bar.
We don’t have a lot of information as to why Atomos is starting this sale, but it looks like the company’s new CEO, Estelle McGechie, wants things to change. No speculation here, but in the end, a product discount is always a piece of excellent news for filmmakers and end clients.
This $500/€500 discount is already available at B&H and CVP. If you visit CineD’s global affiliate partners’ web stores, namely B&H, CVP and Fujiya Camera, and consider purchasing one, you’ll get the product at the same price, while we’ll get a small commission that helps us deliver fresh daily news.
What do you think about this Atomos Ninja V+ sale? Did you consider getting one, or do you keep your original Ninja V up and running? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments down below!
