Benro has recently released a new travel-friendly tripod: the Benro TablePod Flex. This lightweight and compact tripod has three carbon fiber legs. Once you unscrew the bottom rubber feet, you’ll discover three hidden flexible legs inside. Then, you can swap one or multiple rigid legs and transform the Benro TablePod Flex onto a “Gorillapod-like” vlogging tripod. Let’s take a closer look at it!
Benro is well-known for making compact and travel-friendly tripods for content creators like their recent MeFOTO RoadTrip Pro. But, if you ever shot a vlog or even holiday videos, you probably experienced how a versatile camera support tool can make your life easier.
If you’re looking for a great mix between a tabletop tripod, a flexible tripod, and a vlog selfie stick, Benro’s newly introduced TablePod Flex might be for you.
The Benro TablePod Flex is a compact tripod with the weight of only 0.95lb/0.43kg. Out of the box, it looks like any tabletop tripod with a built-in Arca-Swiss-standard ball head.
The ball head features 360° pan rotation with a built-in pan scale and two 90° notches to switch from landscape to portrait mode quickly.
Also, the TablePod Flex kit includes an adjustable phone holder with a cold shoe mount that fits most smartphones.
At the base of the tripod legs, you’ll find two 1/4″-20 mounting points to attach additional accessories or connect the flex legs.
The TablePod Flex comes with three adjustable tripod legs. You can adjust the angle of each leg by pressing a button on the top side of the legs. In addition, there are rubber feet at the bottom of the legs for extra stability.
Furthermore, one of the main selling points of this tripod is that you can unscrew the rubber feet and find the hidden flexible legs inside. The flexible legs have 1/4″-20 threads on each end. It means that you have several configuration options:
You got it, the possibilities with the TablePod Flex are endless, and a wide variety of combinations are possible with the rigid and flexible legs.
The Benro TablePod Flex is available now for $159.95. The basic kit comes with a tripod, three flexible legs, a smartphone adapter, a set of rubber feet, and a little pouch. Also included is an Auxiliary locking ring, which prevents stress on the legs.
