More rumors come from Northlight Images today. Apparently the Canon EOS 3D rumors already started in 2004 and they’re coming back now and then.
Northlight Images:
The 3D has been regularly mentioned for many years – some of what was suggested became the 5D, but the 3D frequently gets listed – often as a general purpose ‘I want a cheaper 1Dx camera wishlist’.
They claim to have been told that we’d see a a new full frame DSLR called “3D” next year and it would also mark the appearance of Canon’s new sensor design. They also said that the 5D mark 3 would not appear until next August (for photokina 2012).
Personally, I don’t take this seriously at all. It looks like another one of the rumors that come in so frequently but eventually turn out to be bs. What do you guys think?
