Canon Professional Services (CPS), a comprehensive support program that helps Canon customers keep their equipment on track, is now a paid product support service. There are several different annual membership types available, so let’s find out which service best fits your needs.
Until now, membership for Canon’s Professional Services has been free and customers only had to register. Canon has redesigned the service and turned it into a paid model, beginning in February 2023.
CPS membership will be through annual fees offering various tiers for self-employed professionals, small and medium businesses, as well as corporate packages for larger businesses. Multiple employees of the same organization can access and use the benefits and get support from Canon Professional Services at the same time.
If you are a customer already using an EOS R5 or a C300 Mark III, for example, and have a free CPS membership, you can migrate your existing account to the new service following these steps:
Priority SupportDedicated direct phone line and email helpdesk. Canon experts offer technical support, membership help, and product advice.
Fast Track repair loansCanon will repair or service your product in 2 days at one of the specialist CPS service centers, with a free backup loan if you need it.
International SupportGet help abroad at local service centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Support for accredited photographers at major sports and entertainment events globally.
Exclusive Events and ExperiencesExclusive invitations to events, workshops, Canon experiences, and special offers to keep you updated.
If you think a paid membership at Canon Professional Service is too expensive and not what you need, then the Canon Club might be an alternative for you. For hobbyists and enthusiasts, Canon has launched the Canon Club, a community platform for creatives where members can learn, explore and get inspiration from other Canon enthusiasts. For further information, please check out the Canon Club website.
