After the recent launch of the Duvo HZK 25-1000mm F/2.8-5.0 PL mount cinema box lens, FUJINON is announcing its lens roadmap for the Duvo HZK series of lenses. The company is currently working on two new “lighter” wide and standard zoom lenses. So let’s take a closer look at what we know so far!
The massive FUJINON HZK 25-1000mm F/2.8-5.0 PL mount cinema box lens was announced in October 2022, and we had a chance to take a closer look and discuss with FUJIFILM this one-of-its-kind broadcast lens.
Ahead of NAB 2023, which starts in less than a week, FUJIFILM has just introduced its lens roadmap for the Duvo HZK series.
After the “Duvo Box”, FUJINON is currently working on two portable HZK lenses.
The FUJINON Duvo HZK Standard will be a 24-300mm lens, but the HZK Wide has yet to have a precise focal range announced, but it should be somewhere in the 10-15mm to 100-150mm range.
These lenses will cover Super35 image sensors and probably come with a native PL mount. However, similar to the “Duvo Box,” these “Duvo Portable” lenses will have a built-in 1.5x expander to cover full-frame image sensors.
We don’t have any pricing information yet, but according to FUJINON, both lenses should be launched next year. The FUJINON HZK Standard 24-300mm portable zoom will be showcased at NAB 2023, so stay tuned to CineD and take advantage of our show floor coverage to learn more about it! What do you think about these upcoming Duvo HZK lenses? What focal length would you like for the HZK Wide zoom lens? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments down below!
