On Friday we posted an article about the current B&H holiday deals; it appears the Canon 24-70mm mark ii can actually be purchased for much less than originally posted. Thanks to Canon Rumors for pointing this out.
The Lens is listed as $2299.00, but when you add to cart there’s a new list price of $2099. Add to this, Canon’s $300 mail-in rebate and the lens drops to $1799.00.
This is a massive price drop for one of Canon’s best performing lenses. This price beats most grey imports significantly, whilst maintaining native warranty and CPS support.
The mail-in rebate is part of a larger campaign Canon is offering; click here to see the full list of lenses included. I’ve listed below the most popular ones:
16-35mm F/2.8 L ii – $200 rebate17-40mm f/4 L – $100 rebate24-70mm f/2.8 ii – $300 rebate70-200mm f/2.8 IS ii L – $300 rebate70-200mm f/4 IS L – $200 rebate100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS – $200 rebate14mm f/2.8 L ii – $200 rebate24mm f/1.4 L ii – $200 rebate35mm f/1.4 L – $150 rebate50mm f/1.2 L – $180 rebate85mm f/1.2 L ii – $200 rebate135mm f/2 L – $100 rebate100mm f/2.8 L macro IS – $150 rebate
As the above banner suggests, the rebate will run through to the new year, finishing on the 4th January 2014.
Further news on lenses – the Sigma 24-105mm f/4 OS that we spoke of in October has now been released. It’s currently available for purchase from B&H for $899.00. The Sigma offers a solid cost effective solution to the crowded “standard lens” market. If you’re considering purchasing this lens, check out this review by LensTip.
UPDATE:
Great deal on the Rokinon T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon, which includes 24, 35 and 85mm Cine versions of the inexpensive Rokinon prime lenses for only $1,299.
