I got the chance to briefly demo the new JAG35 wireless follow focus. The unit I checked out was still in beta form and not quite ready for prime time. The control unit was powered by a JAG35 battery and the receiver was also powered by the same battery on the hand held rig. The motor is the same type used on their new EFF. It worked just fine with a few exceptions. The motors are a bit noisy and are yet to rotate a full 360 degrees. They are also working on the precision of the control unit. However I was told by Jehu that the price point will be around $500 for a complete system. This would be a major breakthrough if they can bring this to fruition in the near future.
