NANLUX has just released a teaser video for the Evoke 2400B COB light. The Bi-Color Evoke 2400B LED features double the power of the previously strongest Evoke 1200B. This light is IP55 rated and will be available in Q4/2023. Let’s have a look at what we know so far!
The NANLUX Evoke 1200B has been a very popular light among users (in case you missed it, watch our review and interview with NANLUX) and the newly launched Evoke 2400B promises to double the power to 2400W!
The color temperature of this COB LED spotlight can be adjusted from 2700K to 6500K and features Green/Magenta offset adjustment which is set using the control panel on the back of the fixture.
The fixture also includes a Bowens mount with pins for electronic communication between the light and attachments.
The IP55 rating allows the fixture to withstand some harsh weather when used outside. There is an active cooling fan on the underside of the housing to cool the COB.
I am very curious about the power options for this light since the power consumption of 2400W is very significant. You will need a power source that is capable of supplying 96V DC.
On the back of the fixture, there are DMX and LAN connectors for remote control.
The NANLUX Evoke 2400B will be available in Q4 2023. However, at the moment of writing there’s no official information about pricing. So please stay tuned to find out more!
For more information, head over to NANLUX’s website.
Have you used the NANLUX Evoke 1200 lights before? What are your thoughts on them? Do you wish they had more output, and are therefore considering buying the Evoke 2400B? What are your general experiences with NANLUX lights? Let us know in the comments below!
