Nextorage’s new SDXC UHS-II cards will be released in two different series: the faster NX-F2PRO series with card capacities of 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB and a maximum writing speed of up to 299 MB/s, and the NX-F2SE series with a card capacity of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB and a writing speed of up to 170 MB/s. So let’s have a closer look at these new memory cards!
The Japanese company Nextorage manufactures storage solutions and media storage solutions. They previously released the very fast B1 Pro and B1 SE CFexpress Type B memory cards and also partnered with Atomos to create AtomX SSDminis with 500GB and 1TB capacities.
The NX-F2PRO SDXC UHS-II series cards have a V90 rating with a maximum writing speed of up to 299 MB/s and a reading speed of up to 300 MB/s. With this performance, the cards could be used for shooting up to 8K, and also for 4K or below. The cards will be available in three different sizes: 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. No larger capacities have been announced so far.
The NX-F2SE SDXC UHS-II series cards have a V60 rating with a maximum writing speed of up to 100 MB/s for the smallest 128 GB card and a much faster writing speed of up to 170 MB/s for the 256 GB model as well as the 512 GB model. All 3 cards have a reading speed of up to 280 MB/s.
The cards will come together with a data recovery software called Memory Card File Rescue. The Memory Card File Rescue software can be used to recover accidentally deleted data, and it is available for download as a special offer for all Nextorage memory card product buyers.
According to Nextorage, both the NX-F2PRO series and NX-F2SE series have passed 9 different durability tests and all come with a 5-year product warranty, actually quite impressive for SDXC UHS-II storage cards.
Unfortunately, there is no available information regarding prices for the different cards. Shipping is scheduled to start in April 2023. For further information about these new memory cards, please visit Nextorage’s website here.
So, what do you think about these new SDXC UHS-II cards from Nextorage? Have you ever used storage cards from this manufacturer? Do you have any experience with them? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
