CNET Asia reports that eleven Nikon D3s cameras will be sent to the International Space Station, along with seven Nikkor 14-24mm Lenses.
The cameras and lenses will be sent “As Is†with no modification whatsoever. The new gear will be used for documentation purposes.
Too bad it will all be in 720p and not 1080p. I guess space is not good enough for the real thing.
