Summary

As we can see, within the Panasonic video product line, the new EVA1 sits comfortably between the new GH5 and Varicam LT. Price-wise, will be competing head to head with the new Canon C200 and the first-generation Sony FS7. Specifications and features like size, light weight, 5.7K sensor, 4K60p (2K up to 240p), dual native ISO and a robust video codec up to 400 Mbps will surely appeal to many independent filmmakers. As a side note, in regards to the Dual Native ISO feature, Nela Pertl – Panasonic’s Europe/Middle East/Africa Marketing Manager – has said that the camera is currently being tested to determine final ISO specifications.
