Peak Design has just released an updated version of its famous Field Pouch: the Peak Design Field Pouch V2. The concept of the Field Pouch is that you can use it either as a carry-all sling bag or as an in-bag organizer. This new version features a new internal pocket layout with one internal zip pocket, stretch pockets, and it can now expand from 1.5L to 3L capacity. Let’s take a closer look at it!
Peak Design is mostly known for making high-quality bags, like their Everyday Line V2 lineup of backpacks. However, the company also launched the Travel Tripod in 2019 that was a huge success on Kickstarter.
As a mission, Peak Design always tries to develop the best possible products with no compromises and make some innovative pieces of gear. Their previous Field Pouch bag was already a huge success because you can use it as a daily carry-all sling bag or put it in your camera bag to be more organized.
The Peak Design Field Pouch V2 is a very compact – 9.4in/24cm x 7.5in/19 cm x 0.4in/1cm – bag with a maximum capacity of 3L. It is made from weatherproof double poly-coated DWR impregnated 400D nylon canvas, which makes it perfect for everyday use. Also, it has a lifetime warranty, so don’t worry if bad things happen, Peak Design have your back.
The concept of the Peak Design Field Pouch V2 is that you can use it in a lot of different ways. For example, you can use it as a sling bag with the included carry strap, attach it to your belt to carry a lens or accessories when you’re on set, or put it inside your camera bag to add an extra layer of protection and organization.
On the inside, the Field Pouch V2 features a new enhanced organization. Indeed, it has a new internal pocket layout, one new internal zip pocket as well as stretch pockets to put batteries, memory cards, or small accessories inside.
If you don’t need the full 3L capacity, you can now roll the top part of the Field Pouch V2 to make it only half the capacity at 1.5L.
The Peak Design Field Pouch V2 is available now in three colorways – charcoal/grey, black, and midnight/blue – for $44.95/€38,31.
