Together with Atomos, RØDE, DZOFILM, and Artlist, NANLITE & NANLUX have just launched a new online filmmaking contest: Project Spark. There are four categories: best narrative short, best documentary, best commercial short and best experimental short. All the winners will be awarded $20,000 in cash and $7,000 worth of gear. The submissions are open until May 31, so let’s take a look!
To “offer support to creators and storytellers and provide a place for them to show their talent,” NANLITE & NANLUX recently launched an online filmmaking contest: Project Spark.
NANLITE & NANLUX – the two sub-brands of NANGUANG – are well-known amongst professional filmmakers and content creators for creating LED lighting fixtures and lighting modifiers with a good price-per-watt ratio and great features. NANLITE recently revamped its entire lineup and launched the Forza II and PavoTube II series of LED fixtures with numerous improvements.
Project Spark is a global campaign and online contest by NANLITE & NANLUX, together with four sponsors: Atomos, RØDE, DZOFILM, and Artlist. The competition is open to all content creators regardless of age, country, or region.
There are four categories:
There will be another prize for “the spark,” which will be the overall winner. But what can you win?
All prize-winning submissions will receive $20,000 in cash and $7,000 in gear. The gear package includes an Atomos Ninja V monitor/recorder and Atomos Connect, one RØDE NTG5 and Wireless GO II package, a DZOFILM Markin 1.6x expander, an Artlist Max Pro subscription, and NANLITE fixtures.
The theme for the NANLITE & NANLUX Spark Project is “Reflection.” Here is how they define it:
Light always originates from somewhere but nowhere to terminate. Different surfaces in nature could reflect the same light into different result–soft, hard, focus and spread, etc. Surfaces in heart and mind could sometimes reflect emotion and soul, even memory and reality. Surface could be defined by you, and what will be the reflection of your surface? The Spark is here, it brings the light, and your reflection will be the answer.NANLITE & NANLUX
