A new firmware update for the Samsung NX1 has been released and includes features for video recording, still photos, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
This camera just received a firmware update a few months ago, but Samsung has introduced some new video features in Version 1.30 that are worth highlighting. There is a “1920 x 1080 (120)” setting within the Movie Size Menu to provide easier access. Timecode has received new features for count up, time notation, and dropped frames. There is a new automatic on/off control for the microphone. And the histogram and levels are now displayed during standby and recording mode.
The firmware update for the Samsung NX1 is now available for download here.
