Samyang’s AF 35mm F/1.4 FE fast prime lens continues support for the Sony E-Mount cameras with auto focus.
Adding a 4th lens to it’s current E-Mount lineup, the Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE brings affordable auto focusing prime lenses to the masses. Promising exceptional image quality for Sony mirrorless cameras with a fast aperture and quiet auto focus functionality, the AF 35mm F/1.4 FE can be used for low light filming and a range of other applications.
According to Samyang, the Linear Supersonic Motor (LSM) will make the auto focus performance precise and quiet, while delivering consistent sharpness across the frame.
On top, the manufacturer is promising to reduce light dispersion and chromatic aberration, common when shooting at a wide aperture in bright light with its high-refractive lenses and Ultra Multi Coated elements.
Here are the specifications of the Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE
Although it is larger than the tiny AF 35mm F/2.8 FE lens, this new model with a much faster aperture can create shallow depth of field shots for a more cinematic look both in bright light and low light.
The Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE will be available from November 2017.
Will you be adding the Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE to your E-Mount lens lineup? Let us know in the comments.
