Hot on the heels of the new 14-24mm f/2.8 Sigma is continuing to expand their well respected Art lineup with the 105mm F1.4 DG HSM and 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro. The 105mm f/1.4 is fast, really fast, and SIGMA has nicknamed it the “Bokeh Master”. Details on both new lenses below:

The 70mm f/2.8 is the first Macro lens to make its way to the Art line and is compatible with existing Sigma Tele Converters. According to Sigma, the lens uses a “floating, two-group focus mechanism, which minimizes aberration at all focal lengths.”
Lens Specs:
Both the 105mm F1.4 DG HSM and Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art Lens are available in EF, Sigma, Nikon and E mounts.

The new 105mm on the other hand is now the longest focal length available in the f/1.4 prime Art lineup that also covers 14mm, 20mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 105mm. The longer 135mm ART lens is available in f/1.8. The 105mm uses 17 optical elements in 12 separate groups, which SIGMA says is “an uncommonly large number of elements for a prime lens.”
Sigma also announced a Sony E-mount conversion program for all Art lenses. For more information on the conversion services that SIGMA offers you can check HERE.
