Sigma has added support for the Canon C100 to their revolutionary 18-35mm lens.
Previously the autofocus system of the C100 struggled with any apertures other than wide open, the update fixes this problem enabling full compatibility with the lens and Canons Dual Pixel AF.
The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 is currently the fast zoom lens in production, and much like many of Sigmas Global Vision Line has been warmly accepted by the market due to it’s spec and fantastic image quality. The 18-35mm is not compatible with full frame stills cameras which is perfect for the C100, as super35mm and APS-C share a very similar crop factor.
For those curious of the update, here’s a video we posted a few months back displaying a C100 with Dual Pixel AF and highlighting the previous problem with the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8.

Sigma advise you update the Sigma Optimization Pro software to v1.2.0 prior to updating to firmware v1.02 of your 18-35mm lens; the download of which can be found here.
