SIRUI has just announced the expansion of their Nightwalker T1.2 S35 cine lens series on Indiegogo. This addition includes two new focal lengths: a wider 16mm and a longer 75mm telephoto option. These new lenses will complement the existing set of 24mm, 35mm, and 55mm focal lengths, and at the same affordable price.
Just last July, SIRUI launched the Nightwalker series, and it looks like Johnnie’s wish for a wider lens was answered! You can read all about the original lenses in his review, and watch the video here. As a reminder, these lenses are very fast at T1.2, and rarely, if ever, will you find a lens like this at this kind of price.
The 16mm and 75mm fit right into the original series with the same dimensions, weight, etc. The minimum focus distance for the 16mm super wide-angle and the 75mm telephoto is 0.3m and 0.7m respectively. The length of each lens is about 93mm/3.66in and the weight is less than 600gm/1.32lbs. As with the other lenses, these have a 77.6mm diameter with a 270-degree throw.
The lenses are offered in black or metal gray, consistent with the original kit, and have a 67mm filter thread. There are five mounts offered in the series as an L-mount was added to the original Sony E, Canon RF, FUJIFILM X, and MFT mounts.
The lenses are expected to start shipping this month. As for the price, take a look at the Indiegogo site for the many perks on offer. The Super Early Bird PerkE-BLK Kit in black, for example, is priced at $679/ €638 EUR (14% off the regular price of $750), or you can purchase the lenses individually for $319 (black) or $356 (metal gray) – a 15% savings off the regular price of $339/$379. For more information on the lenses, have a look at the SIRUI website.
Please note that this review contains affiliate product links for SIRUI’s Nightwalker Cine Lenses campaign. As with any other crowdfunding campaign, we advise you to carefully read the platform T&C as it is not a shop! SIRUI, on the other hand, had several very successful campaigns in the past, so obviously they can deliver.

A camera was put in my hands at 16, and I’ve been taking photographs ever since. An American, I’ve lived and worked in Vienna for many years both as a photographer and a photography teacher. Currently I am the photographer for the award-winning Nesterval immersive theater group. I’m a teller of stories. Stories hold my interest. I’ll take on any project with a story to tell.
