If you’ve been wondering when monitor manufacturer SmallHD would release their previously announced 4K production monitor line then wonder no longer. I was excited to learn SmallHD would soon release a monitor series capable of taking the Teradek Bolt 4K Teradek signal and show the image in true 4K and that day is finally here as four new (4K/UHD) monitors begin to rollout. More details below.
SmallHD has just announced more details and shipping windows for the Vision 24, Vision 17, OLED 22 and Cine 24 — all are 4K or UHD resolution monitors and all are clearly aimed at high-end production and post production environments given the spec breakdown and accompanying price tags. Here’s the breakdown.
