Teradek is introducing the lightest product in their Bolt 4K lineup. Merging the great features of the already existing LT and MAX models, according to the company the new Teradek Bolt 4K LT MAX offers crisp 4K HDR monitoring with zero-latency up to 5000+ feet. All in a compact, lightweight, and rugged design.
When it comes to wireless video transmission systems, so many factors come into play: maximum transmission range, image quality, latency, data protection. Teradek managed to pack this new model with tones of features, developing the most compact, long-range 4K HDR video solution on the market.
The newly announced device inherits the long-range capabilities of its bigger brother and merges them with the compact form factor of the LT version.
This new model provides a stunning 5000+ feet line-of-sight range while managing to keep the device light and compact. This is a huge advantage onset and such a result was achieved thanks to the 3rd generation Amimon chipset.
Monitoring images is key. In the end, shots produced on set represent the whole value of production. So the crispier the image, the better.
Focus pullers, cinematographers, and DITs will be happy to know that this new model supports zero-latency 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 signals: everything you need for proper HDR monitoring on the field.
The unit is equipped with both HMDI and 3G-SDI inputs. 4K is supported up to 30 fps via HDMI, while 3G-SDI inputs support 1080p signals up to 60 fps.
The great thing about this new model is its compatibility. In fact, the device is cross-compatible with any transmitter or receiver of the award-winning Bolt 4K series. It also easily pairs to any Android or iOS device via Bluetooth.
It takes care of the privacy of your data as well. In fact, AES-256 Encryption ensures that no one will be able to access the transmitted images without authorization.
The Teradek Bolt 4K LT MAX is now up for pre-order. Available in both V-Mount and Gold Mount options, prices start at $10,990.
