Genus Tripod Setup
The Genus products we reviewed had some flaws. The baseplate is inexpensive and useful for long lenses, but not very versatile. We don’t recommend these units for serious video use, unless at least some of the issues we found have been addressed by Genus. Overall, we think quality is low and most parts very fragile.
