Half Inch Rails Handheld Setup
We think this rig has some great potential, but it wouldn’t suffice on a cinema set or professional shoot due to the lack of efficient focusing ability and poor compatibility. If you are into a simple style of shooting and if the body tension or crane-style technique is your thing, then this rig might serve you well. We think Sam should address some of the mentioned issues before actually selling this device, but we’re convinced he’s already working on those.
We welcome Sam’s creativity a lot, his stuff is one of the few that really tries to work with what DSLR cameras have to offer and what makes them unique.
As for availability Sam says late January is the time.
