Dale Backus from smallHD recently showed us their new $3000 oled field monitor, the DP7. It didn’t make us happy to hear that we’d have to wait until next year to get some new tech in the low end segment.

If you’re just looking for a good monitor though the DP6 is still one of the most famous devices out there. With 1280×800 and lots of positive reviews it has won the attention of many filmmakers.

We picked the DP6 for our review with the Sony FS700.
