I got the chance to interview Curt von Badiniski from Viewfactor. He is one HDSLR MAD Scientist. He has developed a wired and wireless follow focus system that uses the existing motor on the lens. This little puppy is going to retail for under $500. If you get two units they can be tethered via blue tooth to work as a wireless follow focus. He is also developing a hard mount HDMI-HD/SDI converter on camera. This will be a blessing to anyone who uses the AJA or Black Magic boxes. He has had a rough start but plans to make good on all of his past due units. There is a link on the Viewfactor Forum to address past issues with his previous wireless follow focus units. He has also agreed to let us give away this cool Canon 5D Mark II cage. So get out there and tweet to win. All you have to do is follow @viewfactor on Twitter. Copy the text in quotes below to win the non-powered Viewfactor Cage.
We will announce the winner June 3, 2010 via Twitter.
