After the release of large sensor video cameras by Panasonic (AF100) and Sony (FS100) we’re wondering what Canon has been up to.
After almost 3 years of the same hdslr technology with almost no improvement by Canon you might say it’s about time we’d get an update.
canonrumors received an e-mail with a hint that a Canon video camera with EF mount is being tested and scheduled for announcement in 2012.
This sounds a lot like an FS-100 equivalent camera which would be an obvious model to go for. It could also be the Canon hair dryer, the 4K video camera concept Canon presented at last year’s Canon Expo. What do you think?
By the way, did you notice the hair dryer’s similarity to the Sony FS-100 body?
