San Diego based Still Photographer Robert Benson is offering a $199 standard definition wireless transmitter for use with HDSLR’s with an A/V output via 1/8″ mini plug. There is no mention of a mini USB output in his article. His DIY system consists of a small wireless transmitter and 7″ monitor with built on receiver. Both the transmitter and receiver are powered by 9V battery. He claims a distance of 30′ for the system. This is a very basic wireless set up, however it could be a very useful tool in a pinch.
