The days when DaVinci Resolve was only a professional color grading software are long gone. For the last few years, Blackmagic Design has been improving and expanding DaVinci Resolve significantly. It has grown to a fully capable NLE and nowadays it is not an exception when a film production house uses Resolve for the whole post-production process.

When it comes to education, there are many options available online for the Resolve. Some of them are free, some are paid. Blackmagic Design offers education directly as well. Recently, they had to cancel some stops of their DR European Tour, but there are tons of materials and manuals online. It can, however, be a bit difficult to go through these materials alone.
