RoboCup released new zippered see-through storage pouches to organize your tools, cables, accessories, and any other small parts of your gear. To get even more organized, additional Velcro rubber patches are available in 48 different designs to properly label the pouches. Buy a set of 2 pouches for $34.99 and the Velcro rubber patches for only $1.99 directly at the Robocup website. So, let’s have a closer look at how you can get organized.
As you know, we here at CineD simply love filmmaking gear. We focus on the development of new cameras and test dynamic range, rolling shutter and latitude in our Lab Tests. If there is a specific lens or camera you want to check out in all their tech specs glory, go to our CineD Databases for all the technical details. We also test the equipment under real-world conditions and give you our true, unbiased opinion in the Reviews section.
But from time to time, we come across small solutions that make your life as a professional content creator just a little bit easier. In this case, it is all about getting organized with the smaller items in your gear. If you want to see the exceptional organizational skills of a professional camera assistant, check out this gear guide from my colleague Florian Milz in this CineD Gear Guide.
RoboCup released zippered storage pouches to organize all your tools, cables, batteries, adapters, accessories, and any other small parts of your gear. The pouches are 30,5 x 19cm / 12 x 7,5 inches, and have a see-through design so you can quickly see what’s inside.
The pouches come in 2-piece sets equipped with a metal clip on the side for secure attachment, allowing you to hang them wherever you need them. On the top of the front side, you can attach rubber patches to label the contents.
With those rubber velcroed patches, label the content of your pouches and they will look just fabulous. And they’re not only for the RoboCup storage pouches, you can use the rubber patches on any other bag or box. Each patch has the male Velcro attached to its backside, so all you need to do is connect the female part to your storage device. The patches are 4,4 x 2,5 cm / 1,75 x 1 in and are made of flexible rubber.
So far, Robocup offers 48 different designs, but they are always open to any new ideas. Just send them your feedback and suggestions for new patches. This is the list of existing patches:
BNC, GRIP, TETHER, ARMS, AUDIO, CLEANING, BOOM, SPARES, RF CABLES, THUNDERBOLT, BATTERIES, ONBOARD, TIME CODE, MEDIA, TC CABLES, CAMERA, RADIO, USB-C, SENSOR, MISC, RIGS, FILTERS, ANTENNAS, TOOLS, GIMBAL, MONITOR, DATA, DONGLES, CHARGERS, FULL, TAGS, CABLES, EMPTY, SNACKS, ROBOCUP, D-TAP, SDI, HDMI, AKS, A, B, C-FAST, MINI-MAGS, NO FOOD, CODEX, NO DRINKS, DO NOT TOUCH, STEADICAM
You can order all products directly on the RoboCup website, and they ship worldwide. If you are in the US or Canada, you get free shipping for orders over $35. The new storage pouches and the rubber patches are on sale right now.
So what do you think about the see-through storage pouches with rubber patches? Would you like to organize small accessories in this kind of pouch with a label? Please leave us your thoughts in the comment section below.
