FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch are two color grading suites available for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro X. They have now included Apple LOG support for the iPhone 15 Pro.
Since the Apple LOG recording option was released, different color suites and apps – DaVinci Resolve and Blackmagic Camera, for example- have incorporated support for this color profile. Now it’s FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch’s turn to expand their camera support with their last update.
FilmConvert Nitrate is a film emulation and grain suite with a wide range of camera profiles. If you are using a previous version, you can access the new profile from the internal CameraPack Downloader within the plugin. Users who already downloaded the latest version will have FilmConvert Apple LOG support. Remember that you need a FilmConvert Nitrate account to download the available camera profiles and packs.
CineMatch is a plugin that matches different LOG profiles from different cameras and converts them to REC.709. It also includes LUT support and color correction tools. Their version 1.16a now includes Apple LOG support.
FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch are available in Windows and Mac versions. Get a 10% discount on the $125 price by applying the promo code “CINED” (FilmConvert Nitrate here, and CineMatch here).
You can download a free trial of each plugin if you want to test them. FilmConvert Nitrate free trial can be downloaded here. CineMatch 1.16a free trial is available here.
