FilmConvert has released a new camera pack for their color plugins, FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch, that now support the DJI Ronin 4D camera. The profile, as usual, is available for free for existing users.
Following the company’s philosophy of regularly updating their plugins with new camera packs, FilmConvert has announced the DJI Ronin 4D Camera Pack for FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch. The plugins are compatible with Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
The DJI Ronin 4D camera was released in October 2021. It combines the full-frame Zenmuse X9 gimbal camera, a 4-axis stabilization system, a LiDAR focusing system, and a wireless video transmission and control system in a single product. The camera has been used as a B-cam in productions like Alex Garland’s feature film, Civil War. You can take a look at our lab tests here, and here’s our full video review.
Cinematch and FilmConvert Nitrate users now have the new camera profile to match their footage and add film simulations to their creations, among other tools.
The new pack is available at no charge for existing users of FilmConvert Nitrate and CineMatch. FilmConvert Nitrate users can access the DJI Ronin 4D pack through the camera pack downloader within the plugin. If you cannot see it within the camera drop-down list, please make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugin (available here) and restart the editor. You can find out more about the camera pack downloader here. CineMatch users can download the latest version of the plugin here to get the new DJI pack.Â
If you are new to FilmConvert, CineD readers can use our affiliate links to get up to 10% off CineMatch and Nitrate plugins. Individual plugins can be purchased for Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or FCPX, but bundles are also available if you use multiple NLEs.
For more information, please visit FilmConvert’s website here.
