Duclos Lenses in Los Angeles, CA. has been re-tooling the Tokina 11-16mm Zoom with a cinema housing for a while now. They add a manual iris, and gears to the zoom, focus and newly installed iris ring. They also install a PL mount for RED users. This can be had for a pricey $4k, however if you simply want a Canon EOS Mount and Focus gear it will only set you back $750.

The Much needed ultra wide zoom is faster than any other on the market and the glass is said to be superior to Nikon’s 12-24mm T4 lens. With a rock solid hard stop manual focus option and a focus gear this could be a great addition to any 1.6 sensor HD DSLR. It will only cover Full Frame at 15mm and 16mm.
