The latest addition to the A6 Plus monitor line up brings USB-C power input, allowing the monitor to be powered via a DC 5V supply which is commonly found in portable power banks. The 12V DC input is also included too, for powering the monitor via D-tap or other power sources.

Also included in the new 4K monitor are updates to the monitoring features which include a waveform and vectorscope, essentials for correctly composing and exposing your shots. When the monitor is flipped vertically, the monitor will automatically flip the image too.
Here is a run down of the monitor specs and features:

If you already own the A6 Plus monitor, it is now possible to update the firmware to receive the waveform, vectorscope, and nine grid monitoring features. The waveform and vectorscope are features that you would expect from any professional video monitor, so this is a welcome addition to aid in the composition and exposure of your shots.
Up to 50 LUT’s can also be installed onto the A6 Plus monitor with this update too, previously only 8 custom installed LUT’s could be installed.
The firmware updating process is simple; download the firmware from the ANDYCINE website here (scroll to the bottom of the page).
ANDYCINE are also looking to implement common social media frame guides such as 1:1 square and 9:16 portrait aspect ratios in a future firmware update.
Now with these additional professional features, if you are in the market for a budget 4K monitor for your camera or video work, the ANDYCINE A6 Plus V2 may be right up your street.
