Angelbird has launched a new accessory to securely store and transport your memory cards: the Media Tank. These cases are made entirely of aluminum, available in one color and three models for either SD, CFast, or CFexpress Type B memory cards. So let’s take a closer look at all the specifications of the Media Tank!
When it comes to high-quality memory cards, Austrian manufacturer Angelbird is one of the best choices you can make as a content creator. The company makes reliable and speedy recording media in many formats, including microSDXC, SDXC, CFast, CFexpress, and SSDs. Our factory tour gives you a nice behind-the-scenes look at how they make and test their products.
Angelbird is now back with a complementary product that sounds like an excellent fit in their lineup of products: a memory card case called the Media Tank.
The Angelbird Media Tank are hard-aluminum memory card cases that are, according to the company, splash-resistant, dust, shock, ESD, and x-ray-proof. The two-tone case features Angelbird’s signature yellow color on one side and blue-gray on the other, making it easy to find inside your camera bag.
The cases feature two-ring loops for padlocks or carabiners. To open the Media Tank, you’ll press on the Lock-Solid locking mechanism, a “robust locking mechanism that is durability-tested for reliable performance and safety.”
Each Media Tank model can hold up to four memory cards, and you’ll have the choice between three models for either SD, CFast, or CFexpress Type B.
The case interior is rattle-proof, and it has precision-cut foam inserts with finger grooves for easy card access.
The Angelbird Media Tank is available now for $79.99/€79.99 each. Angelbird also offers a free custom engraving service as an option to personalize your case. The Media Tank case can be engraved on one or both sides with a name, logo, personal contact details, or a unique message.
For more information, please visit Angelbird’s website here.
