You were always dreaming of a decent ARRI SkyPanel S60-C LED Softlight, but although you knew it would be worth the money you could not justify the cost. Then this could be your chance: B&H has a limited offer for 50% for the ARRI SkyPanel S60-C LED Softlight with Manual Yoke, making it available for $3.410 instead of $6.820. This may still be a lot for a fixture, so let’s have a closer look at what you are getting for your money.
The ARRI SkyPanel S60-C has been on the market for a while and if you are not familiar with the ARRI standard, please read our review in which we compare the ARRI Skypanel S60-C with the Lupo Superpanel Full Color 60, or watch our video below.
The ARRI SkyPanel S60-C has a size of 64,5×30 cm/25,4×11,8 in and is supported by a massive steel yoke. You can adjust the color temperature manually on the rear side of the fixture between 2.800 and 10.000K. Also, the light intensity and the green/magenta balance can easily be adjusted with three simple knobs.
Nevertheless, you can control the entire fixture via DMX and also by LAN network. It features interchangeable thermoplastic diffusers with a range from light to heavy to soften the light. It comes with a 90-250 VAC power supply and could be used anywhere in the world, and also with 23-36 VDC batteries just in case no power is available.
All ARRI gear is made in Germany and is built to last for almost the rest of your career. The fixture is extremely robust with a combination of an aluminum core with fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastics. ARRI claims, that the electronic is designed to last between 25.000 and 50.000 hours and the LED light engine can be recalibrated. It has a USB-A port for upgrading the firmware.
The ARRI SkyPanel S60-C LED Softlight with manual yoke is now on sale at B&H for a limited time. You will get 50% off the original price, as it now retails for only $3.410.
