Atomos Shogun Inferno will be shipping at the end of the month! The top spec model includes recording in 4K 60p with High Dynamic Range.
The Shogun Inferno offers up a vast new line up of features including quad-SDI input, 1500NIT brightness and 10-bit colours for HDR monitoring. You can also record 4K RAW via SDI up to to 30p either directly to CDNG, ProRes or DNxHR.
The Shogun Inferno will be available to order later in the month (09/26 in USA) from B&H for $1,995.00 and from CVP for £2154.00.
Another great feature of the Shogun Inferno is the continuous power, which allows hot swapping of batteries if one of the two are running low. This is ideal for shooters on the go that are monitoring and recording for long durations.
The top spec feature of 4K 60p has been included Convergent design Odyssey 7Q/7Q+ for some time, but Atomos brings this in demand feature to it’s popular devices at an affordable price.
