Black Friday weekend is on and there’s no better time of the year to grow your camera, lighting, or audio kit. We have meticulously picked up the best offers from our trusted partners at B&H and CVP to help you save you time (and money!).
In case you missed it, we have already published a collection of hand-picked Black Friday 2022 deals from a selection of manufacturers in our “Black Friday – Our Ultimate Special Deals Selection: Part 1” article.
Part 2 will focus closely on deals from our trusted partners at B&H and CVP. Please keep in mind that some of the following deals may be ephemeral and disappear without notice, so get them while you can! Now, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the best offers of this Black Friday season!
Accsoon is well-known for producing high-quality wireless video systems that don’t break the bank. This year, along with their new CineView SE and CineView Quad, the company also launched a compact wireless follow focus, the F-C01. All these products (and a couple of other gems) are currently available at discounted prices.
Deals:
Austrian manufacturer Angelbird produces some of the fastest memory cards on the planet. I personally use their 512BG AV Pro CFast 2.0 card for my RED KOMODO, since it’s officially approved by RED, and never ran into an issue.
The company also produces cards that are compatible with the CFexpress Type B standard, such as their AV Pro MK2 series, which is suitable for RED V-RAPTOR, Canon EOS R5C, and Nikon Z 9 users.
Core SWX’s sole focus is on producing high-quality battery bricks that can power cameras of all sizes and levels, from small-sized camcorders to high-end cinema cameras. Particularly, their HyperCore NEO Slim and NANO Micro V-mount series come with a lot of power and minimum footprint.
Fomex has made a name for itself by producing some popular LED lighting fixtures that are flexible and collapsable, so they can take up less space on set or in a lighting truck. Back at IBC 2022, we took a closer look at their recently-released Flexcolor FC600 and FC1200.
While these new models are not affected by the Black Friday sale, you can still find a selection of discounted Fomex products at CVP.
FUJIFILM has released no more than three APS-C mirrorless camera this year, including the 8K-capable X-H2, the X-T5, and the X-H2S, which features a new 6.2K sensor. The latter is currently on sale at CVP, while B&H is running offers on the legendary X-T4 and selected FUJIFILM lenses.
Whether you need a fluid video head, some grip hardware, or a comfortable camera carrying solution, Manfrotto has got you covered. The company is well-known for the quality of their goods, and if you’re in the market for a new video tripod or a large camera backpack, here are two options.
NANLITE has been so prolific this year, that it’s hard to keep track of the number of products they have released. Among these, their Forza 720B stands out for its brightness. The fixture is currently on sale at CVP.
The least I can say about the NANLITE Forza series is that it recently saved my life during a night shoot on a glacier, when I needed a powerful fixture with low-power consumption.
Panasonic completely revolutionized the industry with its legendary GH series, and then took it a step further by introducing their “S” full-frame lineup. These cameras really need no introduction and can produce stunning images, regardless of your budget.
Prolycht is a company with color science at its core. Back at NAB 2022 this year, they introduced the Orion 675 FS RGBACL Full Spectrum spotlight, a powerful companion to their existing Orion 300 FS. CVP is running some very good deals on these lights and their accessories.
Whether you are a beginner or professional shooter, the vast lineup of Sony cameras has something for you. The ZV-E10 can be a faithful travel companion, but if you’re looking for something more professional, you can take a look at the low-light king, the a7s III, or its “cinematic” sibling, the FX3 (which, by the way, got a major update this year).
SWIT’s product lineup is quite extensive, spanning from lights and monitors to power solutions. Talking about batteries, this year the company embraced the new B-mount standard, which powers ARRI’s new flagship camera, the ALEXA 35.
The company’s latest 290Wh B-mount brick is on sale at CVP, along with more compact V-mount options that can help you power small cinema camera packages for several hours.
