Blackmagic Design has released a new update for their line of monitors/recorders: Blackmagic Video Assist 3.16. The models that benefit from this update are the Blackmagic Video Assist 5” 12G HDR and the Blackmagic Video Assist 7” 12G HDR. Let’s take a look at the new improvements!
Less than one month ago, Blackmagic Design released the Blackmagic Video Assist 3.15 update, adding BRAW recording from the Panasonic LUMIX GH7 and FUJIFILM GFX100S II. Now, the company has released the 3.16 update, improving general performance and stability as well as adding Blackmagic RAW recording from the FUJIFILM X-T50.
Like the previous versions, you can download the update from Blackmagic’s Design support center. The utility updates Blackmagic Video Assist to the new update, fixing bugs, improving stability, and adding new functionalities. In this case, FUJIFILM X-T50 users will benefit from Blackmagic RAW recording.
The utility also installs Blackmagic RAW Player, Blackmagic RAW Speed Test, Blackmagic RAW SDK, and Blackmagic RAW plugins. The 3.16 update requires macOS 14.1 Sonoma or macOS 13.0 Ventura for Apple users and Microsoft Windows 11 for Windows users.
Blackmagic Video Assist 3.16 update is now available for download at no cost from Blackmagic Design’s support website.
