On the first part of our ride with this group of Canon Ambassadors, we talk to Clive Booth about his experience with the new Canon C700, which he used during a high-profile gig for Hackett and Aston Martin.
We were fortunate enough to catch up with Canon Ambassadors Clive Booth, Christian Anderl & Ingo Leitner during our time in Cologne for Photokina 2016. These guys walk the thin line that divides photography and filmmaking, an area of convergence that more and more shooters out there are starting to embrace.
Clive Booth is a very respected photographer and filmmaker based in the UK who recently got a chance to work with a pre-production model of new flagship camera of the Canon Cinema line: the Canon C700. Shooting such a high-profile job with a brand-new camera that you’ve never used before may seem like the stuff of nightmares for some people out there, but Clive explains how his previous expertise with the Canon workflow, as well as the support of his excellent crew, helped him bring the project to fruition.
Make sure to stay tuned for more of our ride with this group of Canon Ambassadors, where we discuss the workflow of a photo-videographer, as well as that monster looming in the horizon that is 8K video, and what it means in terms of still photography…
